I hope your finding my e-book because you have made a decision to make some changes in your life. Thats exactly how I found someone else's e-book and started this journey! I'll start off by saying that when I first heard about affiliate marketing, I thought it was something I couldn't do. Sure, it sounded great, but would I even have the skills to do it? I never went to college and after high school I started down a bumpy path. I worked a lot of different jobs mostly waitressing and then eventually found a desk job from 9-5. When I got that job, I thought well I made it! Thinking that because I'm an adult I needed to have a 9-5 because that's what everyone does right? Everyone hates waking up and driving to a job they don't really like and feeling completely burnt out by about 2pm, right? Well, that didn't sit well with me. I'm a semi new mother and let me tell you 2-year-olds have a TON of energy as I'm sure some of you know. Working and being a parent is not easy and coming home burnt out was not helping. I KNEW I needed to better my life and learn new skills and really push myself. Especially now that I had a little girl looking up to me. If you're looking for a simple beginner-friendly side hustle or looking to possibly put your 2 weeks in and replace your job completely. Then give yourself 2-3 hours per day for a few weeks to learn this. If you work like me and your worried you don't have the time, don't be discouraged. One of the best things about this is its a self-paced program! Start out on your own pace.

3 Steps you need to start with
1.Pick A Niche.
When your thinking about this you need to ask yourself 2 things:
What is a problem that people have?
&
How can I solve that problem?
Once you answer these questions, you can figure out who your target audience is going to be and what type of product or products you should market
Example: You are own a health journey of exercising and losing weight
Niche: Health & Wellness
Product: Fitbit and GNC
2. Chose an affiliate program product/service.
There are thousands of companies to chose to be affiliates for. You can become affiliates for Target, Nike, Walmart and Amazon! Did you know over 80% of companies offer these programs? Its so easy to sign up. All you have to do is type the company name and write affiliate program scroll to the bottom of the website usually and click on sign up to be an affiliate. Once the website sends you an accepted email it will have a link listed.
When choosing which company to pick you need to look for the following:
The commission percent/dollar amount per sale & the cookie duration for your affiliate link.
You want a cookie duration so that even if a potential customer doesn't purchase the product that your promoting as soon as they discover it, you'll still receive a commission. For example, lets say someone clicks on your affiliate link but doesn't make a purchase right then and there. Then 2 weeks later they come back to that website the product is sold on and make a purchase two weeks later (not going through your affiliate link). If the companies cookie duration is 14 days, you will still earn a commission even though they didn't purchase the product right away! Cookie durations are only important if a customer doesn't come back to make a purchase using your affiliate link.
Step 3: Build your sales funnel & auto-responder
What is a Sales funnel?
- A sales funnel is a two-page website that introduces you and the product/service you are promoting to your target audience.
The 1st of your funnel will ask your customer to enter their name and email address. You will need this to build your email list and follow up with potential customers. I'll explain more later. Once their email is entered they will be directed to the 2nd page of your sales funnel. On that page you can create a short video/or write about the product your promoting, with information like why you love the product and why your potential customer would love the product too.
In your sales funnel, you have an opt-in page (first page) and a Bridge page (second page)
- Opt-in page: This is the first page of your sales funnel. This is where you're going to collect your potential customer's email address, which is the most CRUTIAL yet most underrated asset to have in this business.
- Bridge Page: This is the second page of your sales funnel. This is where you can introduce yourself and the product your promoting. The reason you want to do this is because you need to earn and build trust with your potential customers. You can create a short video and/or just provide typed information as to why the product you're promoting is valuable to your potential customers.
How to build a sales funnel
Its not as hard as it sounds. I can recommend you some great beginner-friendly sales funnel builder software's that are extremely popular amongst successful affiliates.
- Clickfunnels - This option is not the cheapest at $147/month, its the most popular sales funnel out there for affiliates. Its very user friendly (for anyone not that great with computers) and it contains more features that other software's. It does offer a 14-day free trial so you can always try it out first without paying.
- Systeme.io- This plan is 100% free. There is an option for a paid plan at $27/month, which offers more features and space for more funnels. However, you can do awesome things with just the free plan!
How to Build an Email Auto-Responder
An auto-responder is the email marketing software you'll use to build your email list, run email campaigns, and create trust with potential customers. You want to have an auto-responder because you can follow up with potential customers, remind them of your offers, and have your business run on auto- pilot. Here are some options you can use.
- Systeme.io - Again, this plan is 100% free unless you purchase the plan for $27/month. This software offers a sales funnel builder and an email auto-responder. Its an all in one marketing platform, so its great for beginners from becoming overwhelmed.
- AWeber- This auto-responder is user friendly and has a lot more features than most. Their plan is free up to 500 subscribers, and $20/month once your over 500.
Why do I need these?
A sales funnel is the backbone of an affiliate marketing business because that's how you will build an email list. Which is vital in how you will follow up with everyone who is interested. Most affiliates will make the mistake of sending their leads straight to their affiliate offer. Most of the time the person looking to buy is not ready to make a purchase right away. By following up with them through your email campaign, they may choose to come back later and make a purchase.
An auto-responder allows you to collect and send out emails to potential customers. Once you do this you can communicate and build trust with them. Believe me when I tell you more commissions come from email follow-ups than you might think!
Step 4: Drive Traffic
Now you're ready to start promoting products/ services online. I'm going to start by saying that you do not need to run paid ads in order to drive traffic and see results. I have not used paid ads so far because as a beginner you want organic traffic, and its free!
With apps like Tiktok, Instagram, and Facebook, you can easily reach thousands of people by posting short clips of you that will guide people to your affiliate link. even if you have ZERO followers (we all start with zero!). You should post 3 times a day at the very least. Consistency is the most important thing at this point. Many affiliates make the mistake of giving up and quitting too soon because they don't see results after 2 or 3 weeks. To be completely honest with you it could take weeks or even months to see results. That's why many people fail and the successful ones don't. Because those who fail give up to soon!
POST EVERY SINGLE DAY NO MATTER HOW LONG IT TAKES.
When it comes to creating content, you want your target audience to connect with you. You want to be relatable, understanding, and informative. Tell your story and talk about what struggles you went through and why you love the product you're promoting, and why others should purchase it too. Also no one wants to buy anything from an over the top sales-y person so keep that in mind.
Just make your audience feels comfortable with you. This will help you earn their trust and increase your success rate.

Q: Do you have to show your face?
A: No, you do not have to show your face to be successful.
Q: What about taxes?
A: The companies you become affiliates for should send you a 1099 tax form. You can file as an LLC right away, or you can wait until you start making money. The percent that is taken out of your earnings depends on your tax bracket. Any business- related expenses can be written off if you file as an LLC.
Q: Do you have to purchase the products to promote them or does the company send you the products for free?
A: You have to purchase the products yourself if you want to promote them. Its more organic if you have used and loved the product.
Q: Do you have to have a large following?
A: No, you don't have to have a large following to see results. As long as you're reaching your target audience, they should convert to people who want to purchase the products/services you're promoting. EVERYONE STARTS AT 0!
Q: Where do you promote products?
A: I promote on social media platforms and email marketing and within this e-book! You can also promote products like this!
